By accessing or using the services of Journey Junkiez, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the participant," "traveler," or "user") and Journey Junkiez.
If you are booking on behalf of other travelers, you are responsible for ensuring that all participants have read and accepted these Terms.
2. Our Services
Journey Junkiez offers curated travel experiences, including but not limited to:
- One-day adventure trips
- Weekend getaways
- Long weekend tours
- Custom group packages and corporate trips
- Travel planning and consultation
We partner with reliable third-party vendors for transportation, accommodation, and activities.
Service Availability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services or itineraries due to operational, safety, or regulatory reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to provide prior notice where possible.
Third-Party Services.
Journey Junkiez acts as an organizer and intermediary. We do not control third-party services such as hotels, transport operators, or activity providers, and therefore cannot guarantee their performance or safety. Any issues with third-party services will be handled in coordination with them to the best of our ability.
3. Booking and Payment
Booking Process.
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- Bookings must be made through our official website, authorized representatives, or verified social media channels.
- You must provide complete and accurate information at the time of booking.
- Bookings are confirmed only after full payment is received.
Payment Terms.
- 100% payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
- Accepted payment methods include UPI, Razorpay, credit/debit cards, or other approved digital platforms.
- All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change without prior notice.
- Additional charges may apply for special requests or last-minute changes.
Age Requirements.
- Minimum age requirements may apply to certain trips.
- Participants below 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Participant-Initiated Cancellations.
- 7+ days before departure: Full refund (after deducting transaction or processing fees).
- 3–6 days before departure: 50% refund of the total trip cost.
- Less than 3 days or no-show: No refund.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Processing charges, convenience fees, or third-party transaction costs are non-refundable.
Organizer-Initiated Cancellations.
If Journey Junkiez cancels a trip due to insufficient participation, operational challenges, or unforeseen events, participants will be offered:
- A full refund, or
- An option to reschedule or transfer the booking to another trip.
Force Majeure and Government Restrictions.
In the event that a trek, trip, or activity is cancelled, postponed, or modified due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, political unrest, strikes, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions, permits, or travel bans — Journey Junkiez shall not be held liable for any resulting loss, damage, or inconvenience.
In such cases:
- We will offer an alternative date, destination, or equivalent trip where feasible.
- If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund will be issued after deducting non-recoverable expenses already incurred (e.g., transport, accommodation, permits, and logistics).
- Any recoverable refunds received from vendors, partners, or authorities will be passed on to participants.
Please note:
- Such situations are treated as Force Majeure events and are not eligible for full refund guarantees.
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days after final communication.
- Journey Junkiez will make every effort to assist with alternate arrangements, but final outcomes may depend on third-party policies.
5. Participant Agreement & Code of Conduct
By joining a Journey Junkiez trip, you agree to follow our community values and safety guidelines.
We aim to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful travel environment for everyone.
Participant Responsibilities.
- Follow all instructions from trip leaders and local guides.
- Respect other participants, local communities, and cultural sensitivities.
- Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior.
- Refrain from consuming alcohol or substances during activities that require alertness or physical effort.
- Be punctual — delays affect the group experience.
- Carry valid ID proof and required travel documents.
- Ensure personal belongings are secure; we are not responsible for loss or theft.
Failure to adhere to these rules may result in removal from the trip without refund.
Health and Fitness.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you are medically fit to participate.
- Please disclose any pre-existing medical conditions during booking.
- Journey Junkiez reserves the right to deny participation to anyone deemed unfit or under the influence of substances.
6. Liability Waiver, Indemnity & Insurance

By booking and participating in any Journey Junkiez trip, trek, or adventure activity, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
You are fully responsible for your own safety and well-being. Journey Junkiez, its directors, trip leaders, partners, representatives, and affiliates are NOT LIABLE for any injury, illness, accident, property loss, or death that may occur during or as a result of your participation in our trips.
Acknowledgment of Risk.
You understand and acknowledge that participation in treks, hikes, adventure activities, and travel experiences organized by Journey Junkiez involves inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to:
- Physical injury, illness, or death caused by terrain, weather conditions, wildlife, or natural disasters
- Accidents during transportation, accommodation, or activities
- Loss or damage to personal property, luggage, or travel documents
- Risks associated with other participants' conduct or actions
- Medical emergencies in remote locations with limited access to medical facilities
- Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes beyond our control
You voluntarily assume ALL risks associated with these activities and confirm that you are participating of your own free will.
Liability Waiver & Release.
By booking with Journey Junkiez, you hereby:
- Release and discharge Journey Junkiez, its directors, trip leaders, partners, representatives, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, damage, or death that may occur during or as a result of your participation in the trip.
- Agree to indemnify and hold harmless Journey Junkiez and its team from any costs, damages, claims, or expenses (including legal fees) resulting from your participation, conduct, or any actions taken during the trip.
- Waive any right to bring legal action against Journey Junkiez for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the trip.
Participant Responsibilities.
You agree and confirm that:
- You are physically fit and mentally prepared for the activities involved in the trip
- You have disclosed any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect your participation
- You will follow all safety instructions provided by trip leaders and use protective gear where applicable
- You understand that failure to comply with safety instructions may result in removal from the trip at your own expense
- You are responsible for your own conduct and any consequences arising from your actions
- You have informed your family/guardian about your participation in the trip
Limitation of Liability.
Journey Junkiez, its partners, and representatives are not liable for:
- Personal injury, loss, or damage during travel or activities
- Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes beyond our control
- Loss of luggage, personal belongings, or travel documents
- Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- Acts of third parties, including transportation providers, accommodation facilities, or activity operators
Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended).
We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
- Medical emergencies and evacuation
- Loss or theft of personal items and luggage
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Adventure activity coverage
Journey Junkiez shall not be held liable for any costs, expenses, or losses arising from lack of insurance coverage. You are solely responsible for obtaining adequate insurance for your participation.
By proceeding with your booking and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all terms in this Liability Waiver section. Your participation is conditional upon your acceptance of these terms.
7. User Conduct
You agree to use our services lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Attempt to access restricted systems or data
- Engage in harassment, abusive behavior, or unlawful activity
- Disrupt or harm other users or the platform's functionality
Violation of these terms may result in suspension, blacklisting, or legal action.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, videos, and branding, is the property of Journey Junkiez and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.
User-Generated Content.
By sharing photos, testimonials, or reviews with us (via website, email, or social media), you grant Journey Junkiez a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content for marketing and promotional purposes with due credit.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update or modify these Terms periodically.
Material changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal discussion before initiating legal proceedings.
